Lake Riley Ragdolls is a small TICA registered Ragdoll cattery located in NW Washington State.
We raise Traditional and Cherubim Ragdolls in our home underfoot where we can nurture their natural laid-back, gentle, loving and loyal temperaments.
We would love to be a part of the journey in finding your new family member!
All parents have been DNA tested and are HCM, PKD, FELV and FIV clear.
Please know that we are here to answer any questions before and after you get your new family member! We welcome you to join our Facebook page and share pictures of your kitten as they grow up. We love updates!

King Cypress is a Traditional Blue Bi-Color carrying chocolate. We call him ‘aggressively affectionate’ in a good way. :) He loves hugs, is bunny soft, cuddly, full of purrs, and the best nap buddy. He loves everyone and everyone loves him.

Martha is a Mitted Chocolate Mink Cherubim. She is sweet and sassy just like her mom Maple. She likes to cuddle with the humans and loves her sister Maizy, but her best friend is our German Shepherd Krieger :)

Maizy is a Seal Sepia Bicolor Cherubim. She has a sweet personality, thick plush coat, and her tail is the envy of the house! She's fancy and she knows it! She loves to be at our feet, and will nap in your lap all day if you let her.

This handsome fella is a Traditional Blue Point. Sullivan (Sully or Sull Sull) is a big, wonderful, smart boy. He‘s a talker and a lover who can open doors, likes to sleep on his back, and his favorite treat is rotisserie chicken. He has an amazingly plush coat and super chill personality he passes on to his babies.

Effective 2025
Ragdoll breeders came together to vote on a change regarding registration and showing within The International Cat Association (TICA). This is the association that I am a voting member of, and my cats and kittens are registered with.
This has been a long time coming and is a positive change: now, Mink, Sepia, and Solids will be allowed to obtain Championship status at TICA cat shows. While they remain within the same Ragdoll Breed Group, they will have distinct categories:
-Ragdolls (pointed, blue-eyed)
-Cherubim (Mink, Sepia & Solids with eyes of aqua, green, or gold).
The "Cherubim" name was created by Ann Baker, the original creator of the Ragdoll breed. Ragdolls in either category are purebred Ragdolls. Traditional colored Ragdolls can have both traditional and mink babies in the same litter, and Mink or Sepia cats can also have traditional colored kittens. These color variations and the and the Cherubim name are deep-seated in the history of the breed and trace back to Ann Baker the original creator of the Ragdoll Breed. I believe this is a significant step forward in recognition for Ragdolls of all beautiful color variants.
You may ask, "I got a mink kitten from you; will their registration change?" The answer is no. Up until May 2025, all Ragdolls registered will continue to be registered in the same category and will receive a registration number starting in SBT. After May 2025, registration protocols will change based on color variation:
-Traditional pointed, blue-eyed kittens will receive a registration number starting in SBT.
-Mink, Sepia or Solid colored kittens (Cherubim)will be registered with a registration number starting in SVT (V standing for variant), even if they were born in the same litter.
All this being said, both Ragdolls and Cherubim possess the exact same breed standards and are part of the same breed group. They all share the same body type, wonderfully plush coats, and the amazing floppy, gentle, smart, and cuddly personalities we all know and love them for. The only difference between the Ragdoll and Cherubim categories is the variation in coat and eye color.
